The Hufcor Acoustical Laboratory

As part of our commitment to lead the industry in the technology of acoustics, we built an acoustical testing laboratory in 1969. Our lab enables us to continually test the acoustic ratings of new designs and materials for Hufcor operable wall systems, helping us to make continuous improvements.
Hufcor’s acoustical lab is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP Lab Code 100239-0) to test for Airborne Sound Transmission Loss of Building Partitions (ASTM E90, ISO 140, Part 3) - the first manufacturer with a NVLAP accredited acoustic laboratory in our industry.
Our testing procedures meet stringent NVLAP requirements, and we undergo regular reviews for NVLAP certification renewal.
In addition to conducting ASTM E90 tests, our laboratory is accredited for performing NIC & FSTC field testing under the ASTM E336. Our state-of-the-art equipment and experienced technicians are available to perform on-site sound tests.
Our years of experience performing laboratory and job site acoustical tests are designed into our partitions -- your assurance that the Hufcor products used in your facility perform to your expectations.
